A PURPLE CELEBRATION HONORING THE MUSIC OF PRINCE BY INDUCTING PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE REVOLUTION AND THE TIME AND OTHER SPECIAL GUESTS.  INDUCTEES INCLUDE MATT “DR.” FINK, DEZ DICKERSON, BROWNMARK, JELLYBEAN JOHNSON, SHEILA E, TERRY LEWIS, JIMMY JAM, DAVID Z AND FEATURING OTHER PAST INDUCTEES…

Hinckley, MN: RockGodz Hall of Fame Special Award Show www.rockgodzhalloffame.com will take place on Friday April 10, 2020 at Grand Casino, Hinckley, MN celebrating the amazing musicians of the band’s that Prince created including the legendary groups The Revolution and The Time, bringing recognition to the members of the historic music of Prince.

Inductees this year include:  Matt “Dr.” Fink (The Revolution, The Rembrandts), Dez Dickerson (The Revolution), Brownmark (The Revolution, Mazarati and The Bad Boyz of Paisley), Jellybean Johnson (The Time, The Family, The Jellybean Johnson Experience), Sheila E (NPG) , Terry Lewis (The Time), Jimmy Jam (The Time),

David Z -Producer (Prince, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang, Big Head Todd and the Monsters).

All RockGodz Hall of Fame inductees are selected by alumni inductees, their peers, which continues to make the organization highly respected by the music community. This year’s Award Show will be opened with live musical performances and throughout the evening inductees will perform tributes to their biggest hits. The evening will also feature appearances from alumni inductees, special guests and surprise performances, making this special show, a one of a kind event.

RockGodz Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by entrepreneur Cindy Landeen and rock journalist Steve Rosen in 2009. The board members are Cindy Landeen, Sandy Rizzo, Francis “Buster” Akrey, Kevin “Dugie” Dugan, with an elite staff of advisors; Daniel Margasa, Tony Franklin and Rory Kaplan. 

Founder Cindy Landeen says: “Our mission is to acknowledge the contributions of a group of stunningly gifted musicians and professionals who flew under the radar while delivering to the world music that has orchestrated the soundtrack of many lives. We believe that these virtuosos, maestros and those working in the trenches behind the scenes need not wait any longer to be recognized and acknowledged for their part.  In the day they may have been relatively unknown to the music world and fans at large but RockGodz Hall of Fame has purposely taken on the challenge and goal of celebrating their achievements.”

The focus of the organization is to acknowledge the valuable contribution that their Inductees have made to rock and roll by bringing us the music of our lives. RockGodz Hall of Fame started in 2009 as a grassroots movement and has been building momentum for the past few years as the premier award in rock and roll. They raise money for their cause through private and corporate donations, sponsors of their events and ticket sales.
