Lisa Dillon started in Radio in 1980 at age 19. She worked in Southern California, Detroit, Cleveland, Washington DC, as well as various Internet Radio Stations. Dillon was named Inland Empire Radio Personality of the Year 1985 by the San Bernardino Sun and was a recipient of a Cleveland Addy Award in 1990. Lisa appeared in Cleveland Magazine’s Swimsuit Issue in 1993 and had the extreme honor of hosting the Daytime Ceremonies of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Opening in 1995.
Radio wasn’t her only broadcast experience. She appeared in Television Programs and Commercials including as Co-host of “Motor City Trivia Challenge” in Detroit on WDVE-TV, and Host of Fox 19’s Special Weekend Marathons in Cleveland. Lisa had the opportunity to voice many National Spots including Nissan, Ford, Michelob and MTV. Dillon is featured in Rock ‘n Roll and the Cleveland Connection, by Deanna Adams, Kent State University Press, 2002 and was also featured in Radio Daze, by Mike Olszewski, Kent State University Press, 2003. She was nominated for a Cleveland Perseverance Award by the Cleveland Entertainment Coalition in 2007 and was named one of 26 Most Memorable DJs from Cleveland of All Time by Cleveland.com in 2018.
Lisa is currently Co-Owner/Operator of Amalon Entertainment Mobile Entertainment and Recording Studios in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
